A top presidential adviser and four deputy ministers - among these two defense officials, along with five regional governors were forced out of their posts. And among the regional governors to step down included officials overseeing regions which have seen intense fighting, including the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, where Russian forces have lately reported gains.

Even your article mentions that several of the leadership changes came as the result of ousters, and we all know that high level governmental resignations nearly always come as the result of their being demanded.

Exactly NO ONE has claimed that Ukraine wasn’t rife with corruption, yet a Russian sycophant, like yourself, would obviously look at this article and think “Aha! Evidence of corruption in Ukraine.” when the actual story being told is that Ukraine is acknowledging that corruption and forcing out at least some of the players involved in it.

This will, by no means, turn Ukraine from a corruption-addled government into a transparent one, in one swoop, but they just canned a couple dozen of the corrupt players. It’s a clear step in a positive direction. At least Ukraine is addressing its corruption, unlike Russia or the US.

Putin has been saying for at lest 6 months he would not use nukes unless Russia was attacked. I don't believe this new statement is any different from what Putin has stated previously.

The danger is that NATO is supplying Ukraine with longer range weapons and seemingly urging Ukraine to attack Russia. I don't know if they think Putin is bluffing, but they are playing a dangerous game with Ukrainian lives.

A lot has been discussed lately about the Challenger 2, Leopard 2A4 and, more recently, Abrams tanks that will end up in Ukraine. The opinions of commentators vary wildly. Some argue that these will be completely useless due to the superiority of some Russian tanks in certain regards, while others are saying that they will represent the be-all and end-all of the Ukrainian victory over Russia.

However, two important topics, far more important than the paper characteristics and penetration statistics of the guns and whatnot, should be at the forefront of the discussion about the delivery of modern western MBTs to Ukraine.
