Ukraine Rocked By Corruption Scandal, Wave Of Top Officials Resign: Sports Cars, Mansions & Luxury Vacations As People Suffered

The Ukrainian government on Tuesday confirmed the resignation of multiple high ranking officials amid large-scale corruption allegations, in what's being called the biggest mass resignation and graft scandal since the Russian invasion began.

Some dozen officials have quit their posts after a huge political shake-up over allegations and probes into cases ranging from bribery, to mismanagement of aid funds for purchasing food, to embezzlement, to driving expensive cars while common people suffer under wartime conditions.

A top presidential adviser and four deputy ministers - among these two defense officials, along with five regional governors were forced out of their posts. And among the regional governors to step down included officials overseeing regions which have seen intense fighting, including the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions, where Russian forces have lately reported gains.

Based on other reports I have seen, next will be high ranking military officers.
You know why they don’t publish articles about corruption discovered in your beloved Mother Russia, don’t you?

Sure, cheaper now than later.
Europes cooperation has also been a good example for china.
You are closer to the truth than you realize. Current US weapon systems have never been tested against another world power's advanced weapon systems. Wouldn't it be nice to see how our weapon systems work, using another country as our surrogate, before facing China?

Plus, it provides an opportunity to get rid of our outdated weapons and makes Congress happy to pay for new systems to replace them.

Wait a minute… does Putin know you’re now accidentally posting pro-Ukraine material? To be on the safe side, I would keep away from any windows for the next few days, comrade.

Even your article mentions that several of the leadership changes came as the result of ousters, and we all know that high level governmental resignations nearly always come as the result of their being demanded.

Exactly NO ONE has claimed that Ukraine wasn’t rife with corruption, yet a Russian sycophant, like yourself, would obviously look at this article and think “Aha! Evidence of corruption in Ukraine.” when the actual story being told is that Ukraine is acknowledging that corruption and forcing out at least some of the players involved in it.

This will, by no means, turn Ukraine from a corruption-addled government into a transparent one, in one swoop, but they just canned a couple dozen of the corrupt players. It’s a clear step in a positive direction. At least Ukraine is addressing its corruption, unlike Russia or the US.

Don’t tell Vlad you shared that. In fact, you might want to edit that post before he finds out.

Putin has been saying for at lest 6 months he would not use nukes unless Russia was attacked. I don't believe this new statement is any different from what Putin has stated previously.
Yeah... we all should believe Putin... after all he's so trustworthy o_O :ROFLMAO:

The danger is that NATO is supplying Ukraine with longer range weapons and seemingly urging Ukraine to attack Russia. I don't know if they think Putin is bluffing, but they are playing a dangerous game with Ukrainian lives.
First... tanks are not "longer range weapons".

Second... do you have a source for "urging Ukraine to attack Russia"?

Blinders?

Which one of us posted an article on corruption discovered in the Ukrainian government?

No one (literally no one) claims there isn’t corruption in the Ukrainian government, but one of us, when an article comes out about a bunch of corrupt officials being forced to resign, cries GOTCHA!

This wasn’t an article about corruption being discovered. That would have surprised literally no one. This was an article about corrupt officials being forced to resign. Anyone with an ounce of intellectual honesty would see that as a good thing. We’re not taking about someone with intellectual honesty or integrity, though, are we? We’re talking about you and your disgusting level of blind acceptance of pro-Commie propaganda.

I understand Ukraine started out with about 2,000 tanks. How many do they have today?

Poland will have to become a depot for spare parts and maintenance of the tanks.

US tanks won't arrive for months.

Russia and Iran are negotiating a weapons deal - Iranian missiles and drones for Russian helicopters.

Someone needs to stop Biden before he creates WWIII.

Maybe someone should stop Putin instead. He started this not Biden.

Are you sure about that? Biden has been meddling in Ukraine for about 10 years. As President, he has done nothing to try to broker a peace and everything to escalate the conflict.
I see you still don't understand the difference between invading a country and not invading a country.

A lot has been discussed lately about the Challenger 2, Leopard 2A4 and, more recently, Abrams tanks that will end up in Ukraine. The opinions of commentators vary wildly. Some argue that these will be completely useless due to the superiority of some Russian tanks in certain regards, while others are saying that they will represent the be-all and end-all of the Ukrainian victory over Russia.

However, two important topics, far more important than the paper characteristics and penetration statistics of the guns and whatnot, should be at the forefront of the discussion about the delivery of modern western MBTs to Ukraine. However, they often get overlooked. We get it, they’re not as glamorous as 60-ton metal boxes that go boom. We know, we understand, that’s our gut feeling as well.

Putin can bring peace anytime. Simply pull his troops and mercenaries back to home and quit firing weapons into Ukraine.

Nothing for biden or any other politician can do to help provide long lasting peace, except keep supporting Ukraine.

Don't you think it is strange that Biden has made no attempt to prevent or stop the war? I don't, because he helped start it.
