Hi all. First time poster. Is it OK to use moldy hay for mulch in a veggie garden?
It was baled wet and has some black along the edges.
Thanks

some plants can be susceptible to the mold. i mulched strawberries with moldy hay once and the plants became moldy. i had to pull it back from them. i would keep the really moldy stuff away from the plants just a little bit.
