Hi, I saw a link somewhere here someone gave to purchase one of those mini hay balers . . . Cant find it; cant recall if it was in the title of post or somewhere in a reply. Anyone remember? Where can I find one of those mini balers to purchase? They are used in craft shop displays, and other cute craft thingys.

    thanks,
    Sherry

Just a warning about those things---a friend bought one and it took them over 1/2 hour at best to make a mini bale of hay. Very frustrating for them.

How "mini" are we talking here? I have seen some made for pine straw sold to use in flower beds and they made a bale about roughly 1/4 size a regular bale.

They made theirs themselves. With a little ingenuity I figure one can be made like theirs for about twenty bucks. Theres was basically a smaller version of the jig used in strawbale construction to make half bales etc. I imagine you could make one like that and downsize it to fit your needs.
