I am having a hard time finding a mineral suppliment for the goats. I am wanting to slowly switch from bagged feed to grain but need to find the loose mineral first. I plan to feed whole oats, barley, corn and calf manna. They will get alfalfa pellets and grass hay. A name brand or link would realy be appriciated.
Thanks
Steff, haven't any of your local farm stores been willing to get goat mineral in for you if they don't carry it? My goat mineral (loose) comes from my local Southern States, no name but does come tagged for content, they get it in for me - strangely none of the boer goat farmers use this mineral apparently. Also check with the folks you would get the whole grains from, they might be more helpful since your other business hinges on it.
go to www.sweetlix.com and find a supplier in your area. Though they may not carry the goat mineral, they'll probably be happy to order you some.
