We're moving back to our farm this fall and I would like to get some heritage turkeys. Would like poults, but would try some eggs also. I'm located in southeastern WA and if possible I can drive to pickup. Probably only want 3 or 4. Does anyone know where there might be any available in SE WA or north Idaho?

I do not know if you mean you want them now?? or in the spring?? They will be hard to find now as they are not like chickens who lay year round, most turkeys lay in the spring and all of the hatcheries sell them until about midway through the summer then they are done for the year until next spring.

Ask me how I know? I waited a little to long this year, and wound up getting none. If I were you I would look at what the hatcheries in your region normally offer and plan on ordering early next spring.

Debbie,

I just spotted that ad yesterday. I'm not to far from their wine tasting room. I emailed them to see if they sell poults.

Thanks,
Bob
