    My first response would be to ask if I could come and live with ya'll!

    I lived in South Dakota for a while more than a decade ago and I loved constant snow....but my husband hates it.....

    I hated it last week when a late frost here in north bama got some of my plants,,,,,(I tried to cover most of them but couldn't cover them all)....but that view from your house is beautiful!

    Do you like living in Maine????? tell us why and why not!

    Hi Quiver0f9;
    WOW! Snow this late in the season! It's pretty, don't get much here. I grew up in Il., had a lOT of snow. The good thing about this one, other than it being pretty, you won't get much more.
    Have a blessed day!

    Last night at our camp near Rangely there was 2 inches at about 7pm.

    Enough already!!! Within the past 5 years I've seen it snow here in Central Maine in May.... :no: :no: We just got rain but it sure is floody around here....mallards swimming in the front yard...the pond is too deep for them I guess!

    Quiver I hope you havent planted anything! I know you were anxious to a couple weeks back...

    I drove 30 miles in 4WD Friday morning, half the way is intertstate...I call it sliding to work...Major snow and ice. It was 20 degrees this morning...I'm sure it froze the currant & lilac blossoms.

    We've got rhododendrons blooming all over the place here...but we had our snow this winter. Once. Last December, I think it was....

    I'm hardening off tomato seedlings now.:haha:

    We had a cold front here this week, too. One day it only got up to 81!

    Last Sunday, we had snow like that. The yellow daffodils and rose-colored tulips were kind of pretty sticking up through the snow. The Sunday before it was in the 80s. Ya never know.

    The best thing about snow is looking at other peoples pictures of it.
