    There is a very long, and apparently very thorough, article on converting cooking grease to tractor fuel in the Spring 05 (Vol 29, Nr. 2) issue of Small Farmer's Journal. You can get a copy of the issue by calling them at 541-549-2064. Cost will be $10.00.

    Home Power has also had some pretty complete articles on the conversion. To me, however, an engine set up to run on straight vegetable oil or grease makes more sense, even if the conversion requires a seperate heated tank for the oil/grease, because of the additional chemicals and equipment needed to convert the veggie oil to biodiesel. I have seen quite a few "grease car" conversions that are working well.

    Why pay the 10 bucks for the article? I have searched the web and found more than i wanted to know on the subject of home brew bio diesel
