Log-Out Problems?

Hi, sorry to post this here, but I still can't post in General Chat. I can't seem to get or stay logged out of HT. I thought at first I was just forgetting to log out when I left, but I've really been paying attention lately, and that's not it.

I DO click on "log out", wait for the little box to come up that says "are you sure" and then click on yes, and then the screen goes gray and it says I'm logged out. But then the next time I come back I'm already logged in! It must look like I never leave this place, lol. Help me, someone!

Callie, it's 8:25 AM CDT and right now it's showing you as being offline. Does that help? (Ok, so my computer's time is a few minutes fast. LOL)

I never log out ! I love it here ! I just come and go as I please.

I never log out either.

To post in General chat you have to be approved by Men in charge. Seems at one time we had quite a few people coming in just for GC and raising a frucois (sp?). Now they want to make sure your someone who'll be around.

PM Chuck and ask premission to post there. If he's already approved you I don't know what the problem is. Maybe ask Chuck as he's propably the only one who would know.

I don't think I have logged out more than once or twice since I joined almost a year ago, I don't like having to log in and out every time I go on the boards.

Callie, just because you don't log out doesn't mean you still show up here as "active" once you surf off HT onto another website or sign off your computer in general.

Thanks everyone! I just thought we were supposed to log off because it slowed the system down or something if too many people were on. Still learning how all this works.
