I get two local papers and they have very few ads.
Marketplace on FB is loaded down with ads. I was looking to buy a utility trailer on Marketplace and there were a lot listed.
A lot of the listings did show the size. One ad said "I don't know what size it is, but it's big".
Another ad didn't show the size, and I asked for the measurements. Replied 5 x 8 or 10.

 

Newspaper? I remember when they used to be sold in boxes in front of stores. I don't know where to get one with neighborhood stuff for sale now.
There is a local couple page paper that comes out every other week. They have lots of ads but they are big ads for stores and restaurants. They also have a section of public notices and govt jobs open for bidding.

 

Same issue with FB ads. One seller posted what were obviously black poly pond liners, but she said they were for raised bed gardens, and she drilled holes in the bottom for drainage. I texted her, and she took her post down.

 

I hate FB Marketplace

I liked Craig's List, but FBM has almost killed it.
