    Hi,

Was looking through the New Farm Classifieds and thought that perhaps some of you who are looking for a farm position, opportunity to purchase a farm, looking for livestock, etc. might want to bookmark this page - it changes alot and there is always something new there.

    http://www.newfarm.org/depts/classifieds/index.shtml

Pretty good articles too on starting organic farming with row crops, dairies, raising livestock, etc. and how to market your produce or livestock.

    Hi,

glad I could help - it seems that there is a lot of opportunity on the help wanted section for people who are just starting out or have a lot of experience..did you see the ad for the farm manager at 50,000 per year?? That must be a lot of responsibility!

But I like reading how people went from chem farming to organic farming/dairying etc. and read their success stories, it gives me hope that one day someone will invent a non chemical thing to eliminate fire ants...I wanted an anteater but don't think I would be allowed to import one!
