What Can I Treat The Herd With For Lice??

We use pour-on cattle delouser called Cylence. It works great. We dose with 3 cc per adult goat and 1-2 cc per kid depending on weight. Treat whole herd at the same time and repeat in 3 wks to break the cycle.

Learning here, Firefly, how did you know they had lice? Are they real small like humans get? what do you look for and is it common in goats? Can it go from goats to chickens and vice versa?

Ivermectin will also help rid anybody of lice. It can be used for both demodetic mange, and cooties in general, besides as a vermifuge.
