I wish each and every one of you were my neighbors so I could share the garden lettuce with. I'm getting so bloody tired of lettuce. Doesn't he realize its only three people here. I have resorted to making a sign at the end of the lane 'FREE LETTUCE'.

When we have too many zucchinis, we go to the local supermarket and chuck them on the driver's seat of unlocked cars.

Serve it 400 ways at every meal....he'll plant less next year. Tell him cabbage would have lasted longer as it can be stored. If all else fails. wrap it in a pretty package and leave on passenger seat with window down. Hopefully a petty thief will take it off your hands. Then again you could just end up with lots of zucchini that way!

Make lots of coleslaw, thats what resturants do, then most of it gets thrown away... I'm sure some animals wouldn't mind having some lettuce.

Buy a juicer. It's a great way to use up too much produce and so good for you. Lettuce is very good for you in juice.
