lemon and salt rust remover... it really works!

    ok, this is probably common knowledge to some, but having recently discovered it for myself, i felt obliged to share this...
    lemon juice and salt will dissolve rust almost instantly. Just take half a lemon and about 2 tablespoons of salt, then scrub away on that rusty old cast iron pan... in a few minutes, it'll be almost like new!
    if you dont have a lemon, then the fake 'real-lemon' stuff in the bottle works too...

    Lemon and salt also works to brighten old copper

    lemon and salt also go good with tequilla...

    when apllied to white fabrics with rust spots and placed in the sun it will remove them. I used this method to salvage some antique linens with rust spots.

    Same combination cleans inside of coffee pots also.
