I bought 6 day old pullets on April 24 and got two eggs on August26 and two both days since then.I have never had pullets lay that soon.Is this common nowadays?
It just depends on the chickens would be my guess. My grandma ordered red sexlinks from a hatchery a few yrs back and some started laying at 4 months old.
