Lamb with short left legs

I had a lamb born today blind in his left eye and with shorter left legs than the right ones. He's hobbling around right now and nurses, but can they adapt to survive like this comfortably? Or is it better to just have him put down?

Since not only are the left legs but the left eye is involved, I'm wondering if there are internal issues on the left side also.
Since you keep critters for life as pets, I'd take him to a vet to verify that there are no internal issues that could cause pain or problems, now or later.

Well, 8 days have passed. Do you have an update for us on your lamb?

What you learned may help someone else in the future..

He's figured out how to stand and walk some, he always lifts the shorter hind leg though so he gets tired quickly. I'm bottle feeding him in a pen by himself and he seems healthy otherwise

So, is he still blind in his left eye as you stated in your original post??
