Anyone ever start kits out on greens as their only feed? I know most say no greens or produce till older but I've read that a few people on here feed their adult rabbits only greens. So can you do that with kits also?

Not as their only feed but all my kits were given hay and greens along with their mamas from the time they hopped out of the nest. I never lost any as babies. They also ate pellets.

Before the introduction of pelleted feed most breeders fed their babies the same diet as their mothers which would have been mostly fresh greens in the warmer months.

That's how were going to do it. So far all rabbits have been 100% raised on greens, but haven't had any kits younger than 4 weeks yet.
