i did not start any pepper plants this year and was late shopping for them. i refuse to by single plants from wally world and lowe's for $1-$2 each. i ended up with 2 packs of king arthur peppers someone got for me. i know nothing about them.

what are they like? are they a green pepper?

thanks alan...i have no worries now. peppers are one of my "must have" crops annually. i had the same problem finding "economy" packs last year. next year i will start as many as i can.

I'd never heard of this particular variety before either so it piqued my curiosity. I started most of mine from seed this year but for the pimentoes that I forgot to order and a couple of Mexibells that sounded interesting.

I also planted some King Arthur's, based on a twilight veggie meeting on hoop houses where the grower used this variety for that purpose. They were nice looking and had a good yield. They are green peppers, but most greens turn colors if left to mature on the plant.
