This may be nothing, but tonight I brought my goats and kids out of the field and into their pen for the night. I left them and finished up other chores, then just as I was coming in (I was at the door...) I heard the one buckling started making lots of noise. I figured he couldn't find his momma, so I went in and he was in the right spot, but still bleating. So I went in and took a look at him, and it looked like there was a swollen spot under his eye, which I hadn't noticed earlier. He was walking around, but it looks like he's in pain. It's a dime-shaped lump, and he's about 2 months old. It may be nothing, because I was wondering if it could be a bee sting or bite. Do goats sometimes swell up when they get bee stings? I know I swell up.

I was wondering if there could be any other explanation for this? thanks :) Or any bee sting stories

Mine would get small lumps when they stumbled onto a yellow jacket nest in the ground.

It sounds like a bee sting to me.
