Tomorrow she has her second ultrasound done and hopefully she'll find out if she's having a boy or a girl. We are SOOOO wanting a girl as all the babies in the family for the last 13 years have been boys.

She is now at 20 weeks...halfway through. They were here visiting last week and I honestly believe she was showing more when they left than she was when they arrived (Saturday through Friday). Sunday she emailed me and said they can see the baby moving now. She is completely over any morning sickness now (lost 12 lbs. her first four months) but her ankles are swelling some.

My son and I are going to TX next month while her husband is out of town on business. She has plans for me to decorate her nursery (classic Pooh theme). I am SOOOO looking forward to it. ACK...I wish she lived next door.

I am on pins and needles waiting for tomorrow's call.

Oh how exciting!! Out of my four, I only got to find out the sex of the youngest two,and it was so fun! My husband & I bought a book "How To Choose TheSex of Your Baby" and did all the "tricks" on how to conceive a boy. We cried tears of joy to find out he WAS a boy at the ultrasound! With the newborn, the first ultrasound showed a girl. A week later, on a much more detailed machine, it was DEFINITELY a little boy!
Oh I bet it IS hard for you to be away from her. There are several pregnancy websites I used w/ my pregnancy ,all kinds of stuff to read,such as the baby's progress,pregnancy & baby tips,etc., here are a few,maybe they will help you to feel closer to them both. Be sure to let us know what happens tomorrow !!

Really hope you and DD won't be disappointed if it is a boy. After going through the ordeal of almost losing my preemie grandchild - I can tell you that the sex of the baby isn't important just as long as he/she is healthy!!

done! we did not want to know,but with the third child we did as the doc said "he" was a healthy little boy! i hear grand kids are awesome, hope all goes well!
