Hardy and Maintenance free, these sheep are raised mainly
on grass and hay. With plenty of graze, worming can generally
be taken care of with diatomaceous earth. Once they are trained
into a habit (such as staying on the property) they pretty much
take care of themselves. They even put themselves up at night.
The best thing about these sheep, is not having to shear them!
A couple of the sheep show some wool, but it's not usually a problem.
We have a blackface ewe, and we even have a couple
    Texas Dahl ewes too.

    Blessings to all,

Where are you located? I checked out your link but couldn't find a location. What is the ewe that has the horns and spotted lamb? Is that a Texas Dahl? I might be interested in a white Katahdin ram lamb if your not too far from me. It would have to be purebred however.

You can contact Brian, or Lisa regarding anything you are interested in by calling
417-683-6778 home, or 417-683-1929 ofc, (Missouri) or e-mail sent to eberean@olearyfarms.com

This is his reply to you:

We are located in Ava, which is Southeast of Springfield Missouri. The ewe with the horns is Texas Dahl, and the spotted ewe lamb is from our Katahdin male breeders. We breed our Katahdin's for white with color. Our rams are 7/8 Katahdin from registered stock, but we do not keep papers on our animals. We have had very good results from crossing Barbados, Texas Dahl, and of course Katahdin ewes with strictly Katahdin rams. We have a good selection of this year Spring, white Katahdin rams right now until the 21st. Best thing to do is come see what we have before then. They are $1.25/lb

    Hi all,

    Wish you were closer too!

Just a reminder, what's left of the flock is heading up for auction on the 21st of July.

    Blessings,
    Tamar
