    Hi,

I'm Bernice from over at the Goat board. I haven't had time to really check out the other boards, but just happened to notice the Pig Board. Thought I'd stop by and say, "Hi" to Ya'll and mention that we have now added some pigs and cows along with chickens to the farm. Got back to our homesteading roots after 2 years struggling with just the commercial goat dairy. Life is so much better! I'm glad I looked up and saw the Pig Board, its nice to talk about raising pigs, etc. Take care.

    Bernice

Hi Bernice, Just pull up a slop bucket and set a spell. WE do a lot of grunting, but not much groanin'. If you scratch our belly with a corn cob, we'll follow you anywhere.

Thanks Uncle Will for the welcome:) Got my slop bucket out and plopped down to sit for a spell. AHA! The magick trick is to scratch the belly with a corn cob.........hmmmmm.......could ahve used that trick last weekend when the pig got out, LOL:):) I did end up slipping in the mud trying to catch her.
