I've heard people swear by apple cider vinegar (ACV) in rabbits' water to help digestion. Dose is 2 tablespoons per gallon of water, then use that mixture as their regular water source. ACV also has beneficial bacteria in it, so if the mucus is due to a bacterial infection it should sort that out.
