I went down to get a load of hay this afternoon. When I got back, my 5 y/o DD wanted to help, so she climbed up into the back of the truck (amazed me just by doing that, it sits pretty high) and proceeded to unload the whole truckload of square bales!

She's under 40 lbs herself, so each of the bales weighed more than her. She dragged them to the edge of the truck and flipped them over onto the ground, I picked them up and carried them over to stack up. I had hoped that one day she'd be big enough to do meaningful chores around here, but never thought she'd be pitching hay bales at age 5!

You got a cute little helper. I'd brag too if I were you, she deserves it after all that work. That's a lot for a 5 yo.

Good for her for sticking to it - they're such fun when they help aren't they ? And you brag on :)
