Please pray for Johnnie, he is in the hospital with acute apendicitus. They will be removing it either yet tonight or first thing in the morning. We took him to the ER last week with pain and they released him with instructions to "wait and see". The pain went away. This afternoon it came back and with a vengance. We went to the ER tonight at 6:30 PM and we just walked back in the door to eat, pack, and farm out the two girls. I will be returing to the hospital A.S.A.P.! I so very much appreceate your prayers!
    God bless you and yours
    Debbie

praying for a speedy recovery for him. I had mine removed when I was 18, it was an emergency too. I bounced back in no time , and I'm sure he will too.

They sent my ex DH home and his ruptured. I'm praying for Johnnie. And you take care of yourself too. You can't help him if you get sick.

Lord, be with Debbie and the kids, especially Johnnie. Father, you know how things have been for them, and how hard this is on Debbie especially. Please put your loving arms around the family; bless the surgeons with wisdom and skill as they operate; give the staff your compassion; and bless Johnnie with a complete recovery.

In Jesus' name and to your glory.

Sorry to hear you and Johnny are going through this, and right at Christmas. Prayers that his recovery will be speedy, and that the hospital will be merciful with the bill.

When I had my surgery a couple of years ago, the hospital completely wrote off the bill. All we had to do was fill out a very short salary form. After you get a chance, be sure and ask if your hospital does this.

Our Jacob had his appendix burst when we were in Colorado, so I have an idea what you are going through. I hope that Johnny's has not yet burst.

Healing thoughts going out your way Debbie.

Please be strong for all you children, and protect them from needless worry, by not letting them be around people voicing their fears and horror stories :)

    Hugs

I have an update on Johnnie. I am back at home again caring for the animals and eating a bite. Last night when I got back to the hospital after posting this tread and dropping of the girls at a friends house, it was 3:30AM. The had just moved him to his room about 10 minutes before that and he was happy that there was a TV with cable! LOL! We filled out a very extensive round of paperwork and at about 4:30 I was able to lie down for a bit. At about 5:15 the surgeon came in and told us what to expect, at 6:00 they came to get him and by 7:05 the surgeon was back telling me it went fast and well, and that the appendix was deffinatly infected but not ruptured. Praise God! They brought him back to the room at 8:00 and he and I both slept from about 9:00 until about 11:30. When I left him they had just given him another dose of morophine and he was still rather out of it, but watching Indiana Jones. They will be keeping him overnight again tonight but will be doing a blood draw tomorrow morning early and that (I guess) will determine if he goes home tomorrow or not. We will see. By the time I get done here and get back, he should have some friends stopping by to see him so that will cheer him up. They also have a Play Station 2 that they will hook up for him later today too. Thank you all for your prayers and support. I could and still can feel them. We are blessed by them.
    God bless you and yours
    Debbie
