Anybody have anything (pro or con) to say about a 4WD John Deere 2240?
I know most of you seem to like "green" tractors.

Our local paper has one with 2060 hours and a FEL, snowblower, box scraper, blade, 200 gal sprayer, and rototiller for $9500. Good or bad deal?

My '52 Case DC might not last forever.

I bought mine brand new in 1980. Just an all around great tractor. Very few around here with MFWD. We've run green machines (And several of them) for many years, & my 2240 is one of the nicest to use of the lot. Mannheim built, good hydraulics, powerful in relation to size. Antifreeze needs additive to prevent cylinder issues though.

Thanks for the reply. Called today and it's gone. First guy who saw it bought it. Must have been a good deal.
