She aint ate a bit of it. Some said in my earlier post that cause I feed her alfalfa she wasnt going to eat the Burmuda. Well, I havnt feed any alfalfa all week, and she hasnt touched the burmuda. Dont know on what shes kived on all week, but I dont want to take a chance of her getting weak with winter comeing on, so I guess ill go back to the alfalfa. Any thoughts?? Ive noticed that even the rabbits dont scarf up the burmuda, but they will eat it, in say 2/3 days, compaired to one with alfalfa

Grass hay isn't an adequate diet for most goats. It has little protein in it and certainly not alot of carbs for energy. Does who are bred, who are growing, in milk, bucks used heavily and older stock just simply need more than just grass hay. I would continue giving her alfalfa and even if she doesn't have any meat over her ribs, give her some grain. Vicki
