    I'm a Redneck.

I stepped out of my house last night to go to work at 11:00,..........

And MY PORCH FELL OFF THE HOUSE!!!!!! LMAO
What a headache, but in the light of day it doesn't look too bad. I had all kinds of horrible visions all night long of rotted timbers, carpenter ants, giant tunneling moles............

Looks like the whole plate fell off intact. I should be able to just jack it back up and secure it.

The bright side is that it was a nice night and the dog was sleeping elsewhere.

    Oh no!
And I just spewed my coffee all over the wall!

Glad to hear it's a minor set back!

In one way or another we have all been there. Thanks for the laugh and good way to look at the bad things that happen.

    Hey, it could be worse.

I'm picturing the Douglas's house on the Green Acres tv show.
Remember how the closet door would fly off the track and fall over every time she opened it? And there was no outside wall behind her clothes?

    Glad you weren't hurt.

Welcome to the club! I realized I was a bonafide redneck when my daughter's squirrel dog, Duke, started sleeping in the recliner I'd put out on the carport (was planning a yard sale). Decided that it was a good thing...the dog was warm and comfy, plus the chair was right by the backdoor. He sure scared the heck out of any stranger that came up to the door!

Hope your porch stays on this time and I'm sure glad no one got hurt!

Shouldn't have parked the truck on the porch! You knew it wouldn't support it along with the old chest freezer ya grow earthworms in!

If you but the roof back up YOU ARE NOT A REDNECK!!!!

To finish qualifying as a Redneck you need to move that roof next to the porch. That'll double that area you have as porch. Them go find all the old car and truck hoods you can and attach them to your house as the new porch roof!

Thanks for the laugh, but to be a REAL redneck you would've had to spend at least half an hour looking for the porch in the 6ft high weeds growin' in the front yard. :)
