    I love the movie, "It's a Wonderful Life," and I'll bet you do too. Though George and Mary Bailey are not homesteaders, there are themes in the movie that we who have agrarian inclinations can identify with. I've written an essay about some of those themes and you can read it at this link:

    Another good movie about the realities of life......Sargent York. DS10 saw it, loved it.

    It is a great movie and Holiday Classic. I wish the networks would show another Holiday Classic that I haven't seen in years "The Homecoming". I think it is the movie the Waltons series was based on. I guess I will have to buy it someday so I can watch it again.
