I don't know if this is the place to post this, but I was thinking of putting an ornamental willow bush in my duck yard for shade and was wondering if it were toxic to the ducks? They DO eat everything they can get their happy duckie bills on pretty much!

Thanks for any help you may have!

We have two pretty large willow trees around our lake and we have never had any of the ducks die except due to predators. I also feed it to the goats when it needs a trim and they are also fine.

There are many different types of willow but in general, I would say no. Most animals don't eat what is toxic to them. Not my animals anyway.
