my new blue-eyed Nigerian Dwarf buckling. He arrived Sunday - just what I needed to cheer me up after letting my Snubian wether go for meat. He's nine or ten weeks old and will be registered.

Here he is with the rest of the "boys".

I just need to come with a really great name for him. Half Caper's ------ "Doubloon", "Pieces of Eight", "Rainbow's End"?

Help me out here, folks! :help:

Half Caper's Ha'Penny - ok, that one goes on the list of possibles. :) Shotgun Billy - ehh, not so much. Sorry, Moopups! but thanks, anyway. :p

He's just starting to trust me - I take him out of his pen, and feed him his BOSS and grain out of my hand, stroking him while he eats. He's decided that's not too, too scary. Sebastian, the white one with the Santa beard, has also decided that he likes eating from my hand - still not keen on being touched though.

When we first had Nigerians, we never could get the buck as tame as the doe. Eat out of our hand, yes. Touch, no.
