We purchased 7 unbred NZ does a few weeks back. We got them home and settled in and thought we would breed them in a month after they had time to settle down. Went out to feed one morning and 12 babies on the wire. Two does had kitted. We were able to get nest boxes built and put them in them but didn't know if any would survive or how the moms would handle it. They were all pretty cold. We ended up with two from each litter surviving and thriving. I felt sorry for the momma's. This is a pic of the two that opened their eyes yesterday.
