this is information on building and design of small super efficent cookstoves. The page also has a lot of other links to other homestead/farm technology without power using simple technology. very interesting stuff.

If anyone would like, they can submit links to my web page, and use those links. I do have approval set up, so anything inappropriate wouold mot be allowed, but I would not expect that from this site.

    Great idea Comfort,

Do you think we could get Chuck to go along with it? I know I would love something like this.
We could break it down into categories so it would be easy to find.

if you use batteries I have bought these NiMH high output batteries and a charger.....they outlast nicad and alkalines by 10X +. not to plug anyones site but this place has great prices, and Ive bought a few orders from them, the deals are real. my digicam usd to eat an 8 pack of alkilines in an afternoon, but the Nimh with a high mAh rate last WAY WAY longer.(and they dont have a memory like nicads do!) these darn things are expensive in the store but dirt cheap here.
I aint advertising here, just passing on a deal. they even have SOLAR chargers!! (I gotta get me one)

check out the forums at the bottom, and read the FAQ on rechargable batteries... Interesting!
