Hi All!


I got some Comfrey roots and crowns from a show, and so I put it in a pot and it's up now. But I don't know what to do with it! Im told it's good for does and bucks with CAE and it can heal a cut very fast , but I need more info first!

You can dry the leaves or the root. Chop it or powder it. It can be mixed with other herbs for many uses.

You can use fresh leaves by steaming them.

It's good for healing wounds, but not for deep wounds.

It's good for people too.

It prefers to grow in full sun and make sure it's not planted in an area that's slow to drain. And plant it where you'll want it to be FOREVER.

But fence from chickens if they are free range. I will have to dig what is left of my comfrey and pot it for awile tomorrow. Dratted fowl.

I think you can make tea w/it. I also think I read that its good for poison ivy...may have to get back to you on that...
