My pygmy doe was induced today at noon and I was wondering if anyone has any experiance with goats being labor induced.

A little about Destiny..This will be her 3rd time freshing for us and we decided to induce her as she kept prolapsing. As of today she is 144 days and she is retaining some fluid. I was told by my vet that I needed to be present as she will more then likley have complications. So this is why we decided to induce her.I have never had any problems with any of our goats freshing and this is the first time she has had problems.

The med that we gave her is called Prostin(sp?) the vet said it could take up to 32 hrs for her to freshen. She has been passing mucus for about 3 weeks now and I think her ligament are gone.I noticed about a half hour ago that her vaginia opening is A LOT larger then before and she appears to be prolasping again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
