I haven't been terribly active on this list, but I just had to share! I've been out of rabbit raising for a few years now. I'm getting back in as of today!! I bought two pairs of californians and a trio of New Zealands. If I figured correctly, provided that everything goes well with breeding, I should be able to get intermediates, jrs,and a meat pen for the county fair in August. Plus lots of extras for eating. Anyway, I just wanted to share with everyone.

Congratulations! I see you're jumping back in with both feet! Good luck at the fair!

Congrats!!! We also just got back into raising rabbits, with 16 New Zealand Whites. We don't have any plans to show, but we are enjoying the addition to our menu and expect to have some fryers to sell in a couple of months'.

    Good luck with your venture.

Thanks everyone. I just picked up the Cals and they are the widest rabbits I've seen in quite a while. They are so different than the lop breeds. Thanks again.
