Well electric went out Saturday, still nothing.I'm on my FIL computer.

We're making it ok.Meat is starting to thaw in Freezers,Tina is going to Can what she can.

We have just a path wide enough for our Tracker to get out.Our woods look like a Tornado went through, not a tree went untouched.Nothing like two nights of hearing trees and limbs crashing all around you.

Things leared to have Radio and Batteries and some Board Games.Got that taken care of today.

Looks like we are going to be about anouther week without electric.

People are getting stupid fighting over the crazest things Kerosine, water, calling gripping about no electric.

I'm going to be here a little bit then heading home.Talk with you soon as we have power.

I live just north of springfield and took a few pict's of the ice. big rock is right about the trees falling all around you.. as in don't stand under or close to them. not a tree is left that hasn't had aleast one major branch torn off. It's like we've been through a war. day 6 after the storm and my small town of Pleasant Hope still doesn't have any power. we are all living off generators and wood heat. I'll let the rest be said from the photos...
sorry their so big, working on that.

Glad your safe and warm. You all have been having a tough winter in that part of the country. Here in NJ we have only seen a dusting of snow and it just this week started to get a little cold. Seems kind of backwards.

    Stay safe.

Not the ones who have livestock to care for and need to try and make a living in an area where there are no resources to deal with this kind of weather.
