how about hiring someone to build a fantastic tree house... I am picturing using 2 trees and making a bridge between the 2 houses with a rope ladder, swing maybe a slide? Here the imagination is the limit and this sort of toy will grow with them.

How about a jungle gym to play on? Kids should be outside as much as possible.

Yea, any outdoor toy. Something with swings. Really much more practical, and many children can play on a gym type thing.

A badmitten set can be added or other game type things as the years go by.

I wish grandma would give them a new swing set instead! But she already did that 6 years ago at our old house, so I feel funny asking for it again!

Those are great ideas. Thanks! I was thinking a playhouse or something. We have no large trees:(....but they have been wanting a playhouse outside. The wind will whip right through you here, and it's hard to play outside on those days....although those carts look pretty cool! They may end up getting the mini four wheeler after all, though. I talked to my mother last night, and she is pretty sure that she would have to pay the 30% "restocking" fee. Ridiculous.
    Thankyou everyone!

If she gets you the mini vehicles anyway, see how you feel about them. I have a certain picture in my mind, but it may be inaccurate. If you still feel that you don't want your kids on them, return them to the store yourself. If they try to pull a restocking fee on you, contact the manufacturer and let them know how upset you are.
