Icelandic lambs

    We had our first Icelandic babies yesterday twin girls out of a first time MOmmy. Another one just had a ram tonight. She had a hard time , the baby was huge. He even has large horn knobs . Here is the first pictures . I will try to get some more.

    Mom is on the right , Dad on the left. We did have to pull Dad out because he started being a butt head.

    Baby is alive and well. He just was not ready to come out yet !

    now that is something, almost like the way some parents cary their babys on their backs in thoughs satchuls lol,
    she looks like she is baged out nice, you could almost milk that ewe and make some cheese, mm mmm good

    I have been milking her , but to feed the bottle baby . She milks like a dairy goat.

    Lovely, just lovely! I have researched Icelandic sheep, but feel it would be inhumane to own them here in the valley. I'll just have to wait until I move.......You have very nice sheep - their conformation (what I can see under the hair) looks wonderful!
