If you remember the movie Waterworld, in which the entire world is portrayed as being submerged, you might consider the analogy of water to debt.

In the movie the only dry land (debt free?) was depicted as a tropical island similar to Hawaii. In reality the only dry land in the world is Sark Island, being the only place still under a common law jurisdiction.

I've read some of Frettir's post and sent that url out to others to read. Very good "real time" reporting there. It's like looking into a microcosm of what's to come.

MSM news coverage has been quite lacking in reporting on the events there. I'm finding myself reading more and more "news" from around the world from regular citizens who blog.
