....to anyone whom I offended with the recent removed thread. PM me and I will do it on a personnal level if that is your desire, but in the mean time I am under stress because of a person that is not correctly supplying adequate animal foods. Animals that were found in a starving situtation, nursed back to health (by us, its is our job here), and now being ignored again. Consider this a complete retraction with an apology. I regret my inappropriate use of certain words, that placed a description on a specified group of people. It was not my intent to stir up such a mess, I fully understand there are both good and bad members in all areas of this planet.

I vow to try my best to contain my personnal feeling in the future. My apologies to fellow mods, and admin also. I am some what of a 'loose cannon' at times, and no, I am not on mood altering medications. What can I add to this that will help more?

It takes a big man to apologize. From one moderator to another, thank you.

I'd also suggest removing the word foreign as well. Just say "a person".

What's wrong with saying a person is foreign, if he is?

Because the way it is stated, it is discriminatory. Just re-read it and place the words "white" where the word "foreign" is and see how racist that sounds. Sounds like he's picking on anyone who isn't tasty-white-bread. :nono:

It's never "necessary" to point out a persons race, color or creed, especially if it is a thread or message of negative content.

Where in the Constitution or Bill of Rights does it say, or guarantee, that anyone has a right to not be offended?

Political correctness===The sissifying of America :grump:

In my book "I apologize" == "I'm sorry"

Would you be as offended if it involved a white person being "disciminated" against by mentioning their color in a negative context?

Would you lodge a complaint, then?

Wait, are we on the same page here? Is this what he is apologizing for?

    That's what you're "offended" by?

I didn't see the origiinal thread - but you know what? From the sounds of things, I would be just as steamed (actually I have been just as angry :flame: ) about someone not supplying what I needed to do the job for which I was hired - especially when living, breathiing entities are involved.

You may not have worded it as tactfully as you could have, but I most certainly understand where you are coming from, and I respect your anger.

Hey, you should have heard what I called an "older" gentleman today, when he came around the corner, did a four-wheel drift and just missed side-swiping the school bus I was driving - it was definitely not PC. :p (s'okay - no kids on the bus)

Why not just quit the job and go on with your life? Does posting your problems with your employer change anything?

    Moonpups,

I hope the landowner begins to see the animals as the creatures that they are. And not just requirements toward the tax exemption on the land.

But, I really can't think of anything more that you can do.

This really shouldn't be on your shoulders. I hope you find some peace.
