I need help with a wood stove pipe

I own a mobile home has sat vacant and I need to move back into it. Everything works in it including the electric, water, gas, etc... It has propane for heat and a wood stove. The price of the propane is very high to heat the entire 1440 square foot trailer. We used the wood stove in previous years to heat the entire mobile home and it did an excellent except the temperature sometimes hit the teens which is rare in Arkansas. When we put the wood stove in years ago, my dad put it through the wall instead of through the ceiling. We always braced the pipe to the side of the mobile home and above the ceiling. We are single mothers with no men anymore. The pipe is rusted and want to put it lower than the ceiling because it's so hard to put up. It stretches out past the outside wall of the mobile home at least three feet. I've tried to google this and the only answer talks about putting a pipe so many feet above the roof when the stove goes through the ceiling. Since mine goes through the side wall, I need someone on here to tell me if I can just put a short piece of pipe on top of the elbow, stick a rain cap on it, and be done. Is there any reason why it has to go above the ceiling of the mobile home?

The reason why a chimney/pipe needs to be above the roof is so it will draw. My understanding is if it’s lower than the roof it will not draw correctly and therefore you will have it pulling fresh air from the chimney and smoking into the house instead of vice-versa.

It needs to extend at least 3 foot above your roof, and it needs to have a 'cap' on top. Also the 'cap' needs to have metal screen inside, to stop embers from going up and landing on your roof.

Don’t try to short cut chimney installation. The guidelines are there for safety.

As stated, you do need it to go above roof, for draw and ember clearance.
It's not difficult to do it right, you should be able to get replacement parts locally.
I use a Tee for the elbow going up with a cap on the bottom for cleaning out.
There's a brace on this link and some pipe brackets. You can use them for support.

There are two things to concider.
The pipe needs a certain amount of height for the smoke to build up momentum and draw air through the stove and out of the trailer.
You also need to be above the turbulence the trailer causes in the air moving over the trailer so that air doesn't happen to be trying to go down at the same spot your stove smoke is trying to come up.
Please be very carefull with a wood stove in a trailer
Please.
