That's the trouble with rumors, someone thinks something,(often in error) starts convincing others via the rumor mill, before long you have a bunch of folks believing things that just ain't so, never were, ain't never gonna be. A classic example is there a now several people that think I am a mysoginist lying jerk that beats up on women.... Nothing could be further from the truth! I like women... Defend them, respect them, admire them, and have since I was a wee lad. I've even married three of them!

If anyone believes those things it is directly a result of your posts. Don't blame it on rumors. Rumors did not have us thinking you were a mod in the dark forums. Your posts and Austins did that.

Again, I've made the request many times to many members, read "my" words, not what others say about me.

Well I read your words and you said in a thread in the dark room that you were using your mod authority to try to affect the thread. Right there for all to read.

And how much "mod authority" existed? None! As evidenced by the threads continued deterioration. :)

I received a message from HT admin regarding a formal forum statement, it included in the headers a list of all team members involved in the decision. The headers listed Austin, Chris, wr, Shrek, and Yvonne's hubby as other recipients of the message.

Proof that at least at one time, he was part of the mod team that decided policy for the entire forum, including general chat.

So you lied in that thread asserting that you had mod authority in that forum?

That's true, and I'm guilty of finding those old posts from YH.
I'm still searching for the ones on whether he quit beating his wife yet?

I was looking, you just did a better job than I did. I also have PM's that talk about his mod authorities in that forum being removed. I sure was under the impression that he was a moderator in that forum.

I read all the reported posts from all over the board too. Don't mean I decide any policy.

I'm advising you to stop posting that, months ago you were told you were to ignore his posts the old fashion way.

Or what? You'll ban me for not allowing one of your mods to bully me?

Chris, what mod personally and singularly sent the message you're referring to?

I'm done going back and forth with you - I've made every attempt to find a solution with you in the past, working with previous admins as well. If you do not feel you can act accordingly in the forums, then you must do what you must as must I.

There is a list of updates being made to the stickied moderators, and a statement about a hard line being drawn. My suggestion to all would be leave the politics at whatever news site you find it, as it's not likely to change the minds of anyone here. This site is first and foremost a site about Homesteading.
