I'm sorry for being so dumb, but what does dd or ds or dw or dh mean?
I think I've got the relations down as far as dd = daughter, ds = son, dw is wife, and dh is hubby. what is the first d mean? dear? darlin?
In my case it must mean dumb wife.....lol....

I always thought it meant 'dear' - but you know, it could mean dumb - not if I used it - but who knows.

The D means "dear" (or alternatively, "darling") in most cases. When used in a negative sense, e.g. "My DH yells and calls me names", it can be used to stand for another word that starts with a D. One that we aren't supposed to use on this forum.

Which part of La do you live in? Currently we live close to Lake Charles, but have grand plans to move to central La in a year or so.
