I had some volunteer pumpkins come up in my back yard next to the porch steps. They have grown very long...the vines are over 10 feet long! I just found a pumpkin the size of a basketball!

WOOHOO...I'm going to have a jack o'lantern this Halloween!

Could be...I haven't let hubby mow the back yard all summer because of the volunteer pumpkin vines. It's a jungle back there!

Congrats! I have a volunteer pumpkin that started in my new blueberries, and have spilled into my parking spot!!! I have two good sized jack-o-lanterns on it, almost all orange already...figures the pumpkin plants I purposely planted have done squat!
