I'm not familiar with Kencove. Are they still in business?
I'm not familiar with Kencove. Are they still in business?I have used Premier One or Kencove electric net fencing for years.
Here in one of the oilfield regions of Texas, we use large pipeline tubing (cemented in place) for corner posts on long runs.
Cedar posts and T posts are the normal posts. Cedar will outlast any treated pine by decades.
Just adds to the charm. The fencing around one of my gardens is crooked. It's not my fault, there were tree roots and big cement chunks where I wanted to put my posts.
I'm OK, as the joke goes. Fencing is hard work. Are you angry about something?
I'm still seeing them. First page, post #16 IIRC.Why were the posts about using fish net to block deer moved?
I have a bunch of wild onion seeds. I understand dear do not like them. If I plant a couple of feet on each side of the fence will it help? It's really hard to fence deer out. They can easily jump 4 foot tall fences from a standstill. Some people have luck with making a double fence but I'm not sure of the distance between the fence lines.
As for the goats, before you get any goats you need to have your fences and shelter in place. You might think you can do it but for some reason you'll never find the time to set up a proper perimeter fence or shelter after you have them. That goes for most livestock too.
Deer don't like to eat onion. It doesn't bother them to walk through onion, or garlic, patches.I have a bunch of wild onion seeds. I understand dear do not like them. If I plant a couple of feet on each side of the fence will it help?
