Need help in with trying to figure out why this saw will crank and run good for a few minutes and then start running wide open by its self. I have to choke it down to stop it. I know if, I let it continue to run at this high rpm it no doubt would do damage to engine. Any help would be greaty appreciated.

Two things come to mind on this one, the first is maybe an air leak at the carbs base, the heat allowes something to change. Second thought is a failing reed valve if it is so equiped, mechanical linkage failure is about the last thing I can think of. The problem is definantly in the fuel system, but I have noticed in my small trim saw it does speed up just before running out of fuel.
