 I was wondering how you all give your free baking soda? I have figured out a way to feed hay with hardly any waste, made one of the mineral feeders from pvc and right now til I find something I like better I just put the goat mix and alfalfa in a bucket. Water in a bucket. But, how do you all feed your soda?

Blue thanks and it isn't expensive either. I was wondering if I could make another PVC feeder like I did for the minerals but,I thought the soda might pack down in it.

Ours will not eat minerals or soda once they get dirty or develop a crust. (The little snobs) - so this works well for us - we put just a little bit in at a time so we don't end up wasting tons of "dirty" supplements.

If you only have a goat or two, it's more fun to sit in the goat pasture with a plastic container of soda and let them nibble it!
