How many weavers here tried their hands at brocade and jacquard fabrics?

I'm interested in finding out how many weavers we have in the forums and who has done brocade and jacquard fabrics. I've been learning more about it and think it's magnificent the quality that can be put into fabric. Some brocade fabrics are relics and artifacts, just think the fabric you weave today may be a artifact in the future.

Asia and India produce most of the brocade fabric these days. Their patterns are what we buy today. We could use more American made brocade. It's a long process and hard work I know, but if you do it enough you'll be a master and your fabrics will fetch top dollar.

Never tried it, but I do admire fabrics like that, they are intricate and beautiful.
