    Hi all,
We have two 70 ft. tall maples that are standing dead. How much firewood can we expect to get from them when we cut them down?
    Thanks so much!

We cannot calculate this without the diameters of the base trunk, the number of limbs, ect. Can you add more about what is needed? What about air space between pieces in the stack?

See the chart at the bottom of page linked below to estimate Cords of firewood that can be cut from standing trees...using diameter at breast height (dbh)...

Thanks AlchemyAcres! That's a very useful publication. I think we can figure out all of our harvesting information right from there.
