I bred 4 does and I am putting the nest boxes in on the 25th day after breeding.
The californian kindled exacly on the 31st day. So I was early putting in the box for that one, could have waited 2 or 3 more days.
I've done the same for my mini lop, except she is pulling hair already 6 days before the 31st day. Do they kindle that much earlier than the bigger does?
If so do I need to make sure my mini rex gets hers even sooner than the 25th day?

Generally speaking, the mean gestation period is around 31 days for all domestic rabbits regardless of breed or size. Some kindle a day or two earlier than this and some kindle a day or two longer than this. We try to keep records of how many days for each kindling in case we see patterns that will help ensure the nestbox is there when needed.
